On Wednesday night, instead of small group, we had a worship (playing guitar for God) night at Lindsey's house. It was very cool :) I definitely want to have another one sometime in the near future.
Then last night was absolutely amazing. A family from Virginia came to the our church to speak about their experience being missionaries in Uganda, Africa. It was an incredibly eye-opening, convicting night. One of the things they said that keeps echoing in my head was "When a Ugandan has reached the end of their day and their alive, they are greatful." I used to so easily mutter the words "God thank you for this day" at the beginning of my prayers, but now I say those words with tears running down my face because God has given me another day. There is so much more I could say about last night, so if you want to know more, ask me!
I hope and pray that going to Africa is in my future.
